A leading automotive company in Dubai is seeking a Spare Parts Buyer to source rare classic car parts. You will engage with local and international suppliers, negotiate favorable pricing, and ensure the timely procurement of components. The ideal candidate will have a relevant automotive degree, strong negotiation skills, and at least 2 years of experience in spare parts procurement, particularly for classic vehicles. This full-time position offers up to 5K AED salary based on experience.

Position Title: Spare Parts Buyer Employment Type: Full Time Salary: up to 5K AED all-inclusive depending on experience and qualifications Job Location: Sharjah, UAE About the Client: A UAE-based company and one of the largest paint manufacturers in the Middle East, offering a wide range of decorative, industrial, marine, powder, and eco-friendly coatings.

Responsibilities
  • Source and purchase rare, authentic, and hard-to-find classic car parts from local and international suppliers, ensuring quality and compatibility.
  • Build and maintain strong supplier networks, negotiate competitive pricing, and monitor market trends for discontinued or limited-availability components.
  • Coordinate with workshop and restoration teams to confirm part requirements, manage inventory levels, and oversee logistics, shipping, and delivery timelines.
  • Maintain complete procurement documentation and reporting, evaluate supplier performance, and propose solutions for risks such as delays or unavailable parts.
Qualifications
  • Open to male Asian nationals ages up to 40 years old.
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, with 2 years of automotive spare parts procurement experience; classic/vintage car experience is highly preferred.
  • Strong technical knowledge of classic car parts, compatibility, specifications, and the ability to read part diagrams, catalogs, and vehicle documentation with proven negotiation, vendor management, and international sourcing skills, with an established supplier network considered an advantage.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and software proficiency, including Microsoft Office and procurement systems.
