Job summary

Al-Futtaim Health's Health Hub Clinics at Dubai Festival City is seeking an experienced Assistant Nurse – Dental Services to join our busy dental team. You will provide chairside assistance across General Dentistry, Orthodontics, Implant Dentistry, and Cosmetic procedures, while upholding infection control and patient care standards.

DHA licensed or eligible, Diploma/Bachelor in Nursing, and 2 years' experience preferred.

Qualifications

• DHA Licensed or DHA Eligible as Assistant Nurse.
• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
• Valid BLS Certification.
• Minimum 2 years' experience as an Assistant Nurse.
• Previous dental clinic experience.
• Strong chairside assistance experience.
• Infection control and sterilisation knowledge.
• Good computer and documentation skills.
• Fluent English communication.
• Professional and patient-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide chairside assistance during dental consultations and procedures.
• Support General Dentists, Orthodontists, Implant Dentists and Specialists.
• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments and materials.
• Assist during General Dentistry, Orthodontics, Implant, Restorative and Cosmetic procedures.
• Support patient preparation before and after treatment.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout treatment.
• Sterilise instruments per DHA standards and infection control.
• Maintain treatment rooms and equipment.
• Assist with stock management and documentation.
• Maintain a professional, patient-focused environment.

This role is ideal for an Assistant Nurse with strong chairside assistance experience who enjoys working within a modern dental environment and supporting a wide range of dental treatments.

We are specifically seeking candidates with hands-on experience supporting General Dentistry, Orthodontics, and Implant Dentistry procedures.

Due to our patient demographics and clinic environment, candidates who are fluent in Tagalog, Nepali, or Arabic alongside English are highly preferred.

About The Role

As an Assistant Nurse supporting Dental Services, you will play a critical role in assisting Dentists and Specialists during clinical procedures while ensuring the highest standards of patient care, infection control, and operational efficiency.

This is a hands-on role requiring strong clinical support skills, excellent organisation, and the ability to work efficiently within a busy dental practice.

Key Responsibilities

Dental Clinical Support

• Provide chairside assistance during dental consultations and clinical procedures.
• Support General Dentists, Orthodontists, Implant Dentists, and Dental Specialists.
• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and dental materials.

Assist during:

• General Dentistry procedures
• Orthodontic treatments
• Implant procedures
• Restorative treatments
• Cosmetic Dentistry procedures

• Support patient preparation before and after treatment.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout treatment.

Infection Control & Sterilisation

• Sterilise instruments in accordance with DHA and infection control standards.
• Prepare and maintain treatment rooms.
• Ensure compliance with infection prevention and patient safety protocols.
• Maintain clinical equipment and materials.

Patient Care & Clinic Operations

• Support accurate clinical documentation.
• Provide post-treatment instructions and patient guidance.
• Assist with stock management and replenishment of clinical supplies.
• Maintain a professional and patient-focused environment.

Essential Requirements

• DHA Licensed or DHA Eligible Assistant Nurse.
• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
• Valid BLS Certification.
• Minimum 2 Years' Experience As An Assistant Nurse.
• Previous experience working within a dental clinic.
• Strong chairside assistance experience.
• Experience supporting General Dentistry procedures.
• Strong infection control and sterilisation knowledge.
• Good computer and documentation skills.
