Key Responsibilities

• Trade Intelligence Development
  • Build and maintain trade intelligence dashboards, reports, and analytical frameworks.
  • Regularly review trade flows across Jebel Ali, Jeddah, and other GCC and Levant ports to identify cargo movement patterns, emerging commodities, origin‑destination shifts, and key traders driving regional trade.
• Market & Risk Analysis
  • Identify volume and revenue risks and opportunities across O&D trade for Jebel Ali, Jeddah, and other regional ports in our portfolio.
  • Recommend trade retention and development strategies in coordination with the management team.
  • Support in customer segmentation and development of trade sales plans.
• Commodity & Vertical Development
  • Develop commodity and industry‑specific business development plans to identify new growth opportunities.
  • Facilitate customer acquisition and cargo growth initiatives across DP World’s GCC business units.
• Economic & Industry Research
  • Gather, analyze, and disseminate key economic, industrial, and geopolitical data relevant to trade and logistics.
  • Track global, regional, and local market indicators impacting port performance and trade dynamics.
• Benchmarking & Competitor Analysis
  • Conduct regular benchmarking of DP World GCC ports (Dubai, Jeddah, Tartous) against key competitors.
  • Identify competitive gaps and recommend actionable improvements.
• Business Case Development
  • Support the preparation of business cases and value propositions for existing and potential customers.
  • Utilize supply chain analytics to propose strategies that enhance customer value and grow cargo volumes.
• Presentation & Marketing Support
  • Develop compelling business presentations, sales pitch decks, and marketing collateral for trade development initiatives.
• Performance & Variance Analysis
  • Prepare periodic business performance reports and variance analyses to support management decision‑making.
• Budgeting & Forecasting
  • Assist in preparing and reviewing O&D trade volume budgets and forecasts for Jebel Ali, Jeddah, Tartous and other DPW GCC Ports.
• Data Governance & Quality
  • Review trade data accuracy, coordinate with IT for data integrity improvements, and ensure consistent data availability.
• Reporting Enhancement
  • Continuously improve reporting tools and structures to ensure reliable, timely, and actionable performance insights.
• Market Opportunity Analysis
  • Produce analytical reports on market size, cargo opportunities, and commodity trends across the UAE, GCC, and Levant regions.
• Stakeholder Management
  • Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, addressing issues, managing expectations, and offering solutions to drive collaboration.
