Job summary

STS Group in Dubai, UAE seeks an experienced software developer to design and implement robust software solutions. You will gather requirements, define functionality, and write code across ASP.NET, C#, and related technologies, ensuring adherence to SDLC and security best practices.

Candidates should demonstrate strong database skills (SQL Server, MongoDB, MySQL), API development, and experience with coding standards, code reviews, and deployment workflows to support STS as a leading transport

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong knowledge of ASP.NET, webforms, Visual Basic, C#, API development and databases (SQL Server, MongoDB, MySQL).

Responsibilities

Job description

The role responsibilities include gathering user requirements, defining system functionality and writing code in various languages.Ideal candidates should be familiar with the software development life cycle (SDLC) from preliminary system analysis to tests and deployment.This role requires the candidate to build high-quality, innovative and fully performing software that complies with coding standards and technical design, which will enable STS to be the technically advanced transport provider.

• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Five (5)+ years of professional software development experience.
• Must Know: Programming Language:ASP.NET, webforms, desktop (Visual Basic, C#), API development for integration with third party applications, Database: SQL Server, MongoDB, MySQL. Decent understanding of global information Security protocols, VAPT process and knowledge on GDPR standards, SOC monitoring process.
• Good to Know: Google API, Maps, Docs, Charts, Spreadsheet, web services, SMS, Email, Crystal Report, HTML5, JavaScript, Knowledge of GPS, geography data types. Knowledge on ISO 27001 will be advantageous and preferrable.
• Knowledge of professional software engineering and best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
• Application architecture and design patterns.
• Experience serving as technical lead throughout the full software development lifecycle, from conception, architecture definition, detailed design, scoping, planning, implementation, testing to documentation, delivery and maintenance is preferred.
