Job Purpose
Lead with analytics and support the development and execution of commercial growth and cost-efficiency strategies across 12 markets, with a strong focus on optimizing aggregator-led revenue. The role aims to improve return on advertising and discount investments by shifting from blanket discounting to cohort-based, data-driven targeting models, enabling scalable and future-ready growth for Americana Restaurants.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Accountabilities
- Use data and analytics to design and lead implementation of cohort-based discounting and visibility models, replacing blanket discounting approaches.
- Partner with food delivery aggregators to align on a common discounting and growth framework, and influence the development of advanced targeting capabilities.
- Act as the regional point of contact for strategic growth initiatives across 30+ aggregator platforms, aligned with NRL-led frameworks.
- Contribute to commercial strategy by identifying opportunities to optimize spend, improve efficiency, and drive sustainable growth.
Operational Accountabilities
- Work closely with aggregator data teams to define, build, and track key performance metrics.
- Collaborate with the BI team to automate reporting using aggregator data feeds.
- Develop a strong understanding of Americana’s data architecture with support from the BI team.
- Extract and analyze data directly from databases (e.g., store-level sales, customer cohorts) to build a single, actionable customer view.
- Prepare insights, performance summaries, and recommendations to support decision-making at market and regional levels.
People & Stakeholder Management
- Work cross-functionally with Commercial, Marketing, BI, and Operations teams across markets to ensure alignment and execution.
- Communicate insights clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Education, Experience & Skills
Education
- Bachelors(s) degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related quantitative field/business field.
Experience
- 6+ years of experience in a growth, analytics, or central commercial function within a food delivery aggregator, e-commerce platform, or large restaurant/QSR group.
- Strong experience in business analysis, growth analytics, or performance optimization roles.
- Exposure to multi-market or regional responsibilities is highly preferred.
Knowledge
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Excel.
- Experience with Power BI or similar visualization tools is a strong advantage.
- Knowledge of advanced analytics tools or programming languages such as R is considered favorable.
