AsteCo seeks a Government Relations Assistant Manager in Abu Dhabi to serve as the primary liaison with government entities, coordinate across internal teams and authorities to ensure timely processing of government-related transactions, maintain records, and drive the digital transformation of processes.
The role requires 3+ years in government relations or liaison, fluency in Arabic and English, and a UAE driving license.
Job Purpose: The Government Relations Assistant Manager serves as the primary liaison between the organization and government entities in Abu Dhabi, building and maintaining strong working relationships that enable the timely and efficient completion of the organisation's government-related transactions.
The role coordinates communication and follow-up across internal departments and external authorities, maintains accurate records and reporting, and supports the digital transformation of government processes ensuring transparency, compliance, and a high standard of service throughout.
Maintain transparent tracking systems and provide timely status updates to support efficient follow-up and stakeholder satisfaction.
Bachelor’s degree in public relations, Business Administration, Public/Government Administration, or a related field.
Working knowledge of UAE and Abu Dhabi government, federal and private entities, systems, and processes
Valid UAE driving license.
UAE Nationality required
3+ years’ experience in government relations, PRO, or liaison role, preferably within Abu Dhabi.
Fluency in Arabic and English (written and spoken) is essential, including the ability to translate official correspondence.
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with government stakeholders
Strong coordination and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple requests and deadlines.
Proficiency in MS Office (particularly Excel and Word) and familiarity with digital portal and tracking systems.
Ability to work under pressure and provide extended-hours support during emergencies.
Discretion, professionalism, and sound judgement when representing the organisation.
