Job summary

Yellow Door Energy in Dubai is seeking an Assistant Manager, Financial Modelling to join our Finance team. You will develop, maintain and review complex financial models for renewable energy projects and transactions, and support project, portfolio and TopCo analyses.

The role emphasizes strong Excel modelling skills, cash flow forecasting, risk assessment, and presenting outputs to internal stakeholders while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree, preferably a Master’s Degree, with strong finance and accounting exposure.
• 4+ years of hands-on financial modelling experience in project/corporate/infrastructure energy contexts.
• Strong Excel-based modelling skills including cash flow forecasting, valuation, sensitivities and scenario analysis.
• Good understanding of accounting and financial concepts.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail; able to identify modelling inconsistencies.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work across functions.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with Finance, Business Development, Technical, Commercial and Legal teams to validate model inputs and assumptions.
• Present key model outputs, risks and insights clearly to internal stakeholders.
• Support improvements to modelling templates, controls and automation, including VBA where appropriate.

About the Role

We are looking for a talent and dynamic Assistant Manager, Financial Modelling to join our Finance team in Dubai.

Reporting to the Senior Manager of Financial Modelling, you will support YDE’s renewable energy projects, financing activities and strategic decisions through high-quality financial modelling and analysis.

This is a hands-on role for someone with strong Excel modelling skills who can work confidently across project, portfolio and transaction models, while understanding the commercial and financing assumptions behind them.

What You’ll Deliver & Own

• Develop, maintain and review complex financial models for renewable energy projects and transactions.

• Model cash flows, capital structures, debt and equity terms, tax assumptions, IRR, NPV and DSCR.

What You Must Bring

• Strong Excel-based modelling skills, including cash flow forecasting, valuation, sensitivities and scenario analysis.

• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to identify modelling inconsistencies.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively across functions.

• Clear written and verbal communication skills.

Strong Advantage

• Renewable energy or infrastructure experience.

• Exposure to the Middle East, Africa or South Asia.

• Practical VBA coding experience.

• Experience supporting project finance, M&A, lender analysis or investment committee processes.

• Experience with consolidated , portfolio or TopCo models.

• Arabic language capability.
