Job Title: Assistant Manager Business Projects & Systems

Reports to: VP Head of Business Projects & Systems

Client Company: An Islamic Bank

Department: Finance Strategic Planning & Business Analytics Business Projects & Systems

Job Purpose

To assist the Project Manager in preparing business requirements and performing system functionality testing, as well as supporting BAU (Business As Usual) system issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Project Manager in developing system requirement documents and procedures to implement new systems as per business requirements.
  • Support and assist branches in resolving day-to-day system issues, and provide support and assistance to the Complaint Resolution Unit in resolving customer issues pertaining to systems.
  • Assist Project Managers in coordinating with various departments for timely delivery of the project.
  • Assist and support Branch Operations Department and Branch Management in training branch staff on new system and process implementations.
  • Coordinate and liaise with Branch Operations Department for development of various control reports as per audit and branch requirements.
  • Prepare UAT scripts and perform complete and rigorous UAT of the new system to ensure seamless implementation.
  • All the above accountabilities include, but are not limited to, any additional/new tasks or responsibilities assigned by the Line Manager.
Job Specification

  • Graduate / Bachelor's degree in IT / Computer Applications

Work Experience
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Banking with exposure to Retail Banking and Operations.
