Key Responsibilities

• Support the Assistant Principal Primary in maintaining a safe, structured, and positive Lower Primary learning environment
• Lead high-quality academic programmes across KG and Grade 1 with a strong focus on student achievement and progress monitoring
• Align curriculum, assessment, and teaching standards with national and international benchmarks including the UAE National Agenda
• Promote student literacy, reading development, and strong academic foundations across Lower Primary
• Ensure effective safeguarding, pastoral care, student wellbeing, and positive behaviour management in line with ADEK requirements
• Lead curriculum review and encourage excellence, creativity, critical thinking, and continuous school improvement
• Build strong partnerships with parents through clear communication, parent meetings, workshops, and community engagement
• Lead, mentor, and evaluate teaching and support staff through coaching, professional development, and performance management
• Oversee daily operations, timetabling, resource allocation, and effective use of educational technology
• Integrate UAE culture, values, and National Identity across curriculum delivery and school life

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor Degree in Education or a B.Sc. degree with a PGCE is essential
• Master's degree is desirable
• Minimum 6 years of experience, including 4 consecutive years of outstanding teaching performance
