Job summary

Al Rostamani Group is seeking a seasoned finance professional to strengthen financial planning, reporting and project cost control. You will manage budgets, forecasts, MIS, and profitability analyses while coordinating with project managers on billing milestones and WIP balances.

The role requires hands-on experience in AR/AP, vendor payments, VAT compliance, and IFRS-aligned record-keeping, with a focus on process improvements and ERP enhancements. Dubai-based, full-time position.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and cash flow projections.
  • Prepare monthly management accounts, MIS reports, and variance analyses for management review.
  • Support decision-making through financial models, scenario analysis, and profitability studies.
  • Monitor project costs, margins, WIP and unbilled revenue balances; coordinate with Project Managers to align billing milestones.
  • Track project profitability and highlight financial risks proactively.
  • Manage accounts receivable, monitor aging reports and follow up on overdue balances; oversee supplier payments and efficient working capital utilization.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE VAT and corporate tax; support internal and external audits and maintain IFRS-aligned records.
  • Strengthen internal controls for procurement, approvals, and expense management; identify opportunities for ERP/finance system enhancements.

Job Purpose
Job Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Reporting
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and cash flow projections.
  • Prepare monthly management accounts, MIS reports, and variance analyses for management review.
  • Support decision-making through financial models, scenario analysis, and profitability studies.
Project Finance & Cost Control
  • Monitor project costs, margins, WIP, and unbilled revenue balances.
  • Coordinate with Project Managers to align billing milestones and prevent project overruns.
  • Track project profitability and highlight financial risks proactively.
Working Capital & Receivables Management
  • Manage accounts receivable, monitor aging reports, and follow up on overdue balances.
  • Support credit control policies to maintain healthy DSO levels.
  • Oversee supplier payments and ensure efficient working capital utilization.
Compliance & Audit
  • Ensure compliance with UAE VAT and corporate tax regulations.
  • Support internal and external audits, ensuring timely resolution of audit findings.
  • Maintain financial records in accordance with IFRS and company policies.
Internal Controls & Process Improvements
  • Strengthen internal controls for procurement, approvals, and expense management.
  • Identify opportunities for process automation and ERP/finance system enhancements.
  • Support the implementation of financial dashboards and digital reporting tools.
Operations & Coordination
  • Coordinate clearance of import shipments with freight forwarders, including customs procedures and document collection from banks for shipments under Letters of Credit.
  • Manage import document clearance coordination with DAFZA and JAFZA.
  • Facilitate communication and coordination across finance multifunctional teams.
Job Requirements
Qualifications
  • Degree educated and fully qualified accountant qualification such as ACA, CIMA, ACCA
Experience
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience preferably within the same industry
