Assistant/Associate Professor of Economics

The College of Interdisciplinary Studies (CIS) at Zayed University, UAE, invites applications for full-time faculty positions in Economics at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor, starting August 2027. Positions are available in two distinct areas: applied microeconomics and applied macroeconomics.

Applied microeconomics: We seek candidates with a strong command of causal identification methods, including RCTs, and research interests in political economy, labor economics, public economics, environmental economics, or network economics.

Applied macroeconomics: We seek candidates with expertise in modern empirical macroeconomic methods. An interest in monetary and fiscal policy, financial economics, or the use of microeconomic data would be a plus.

Candidates must hold a PhD in Economics that is or can be recognized by the UAE Ministry of Education, and should demonstrate research potential or accomplishment appropriate to their rank and a commitment to excellent teaching. Zayed University offers a competitive salary and benefits package.
