Job summary

Flyper in Sharjah, UAE seeks a talented Seamstress to join our team. The successful candidate will have experience in hand and machine stitching, plus the ability to communicate in English. This role is open to male applicants only and accommodation is not provided.

Responsibilities include reading patterns, measuring fabric, sewing pieces together, pressing seams, and ensuring quality. Indian nationality is preferred but not essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a seamstress or similar position.
• Ability to operate sewing machines and use hand tools.
• Knowledge of fabrics and their properties.
• Strong eye for detail and artistic mindset.
• Ability to follow instructions with minimal supervision.
• High school diploma or equivalent; fashion school handy.

Responsibilities

• Understand patterns and follow instructions to create garments.
• Measure fabric and cut pieces according to patterns.
• Sew pieces together by hand or machine.
• Press seams and apply finishing touches to garments.
• Ensure finished products meet quality standards.
• Make alterations to fit as needed.
