The Client is seeking a highly capable Associate Director with a strong senior leadership position focused on overseeing the strategic development, implementation and governance of AI technologies.

Primary Responsibilities

• Define and drive the organization's AI vision and long‑term strategy.
• Align AI initiatives with business goals and objectives.
• Identify opportunities for AI across products, operations, and customer service.
• Lead the planning and execution of AI projects.
• Manage cross‑functional teams (data scientists, ML engineers, product managers).
• Ensure timely delivery, quality, and ethical integrity of AI systems.
• Build and lead a high‑performing AI team.
• Mentor technical staff and foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
• Collaborate with other departments (IT, Legal, Operations) to integrate AI smoothly.
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, AI Act).
• Stay up‑to‑date on emerging AI technologies, tools and methodologies.
• Make strategic decisions on whether to build in‑house solutions or adopt third‑party platforms.
• Report to executive leadership or the board on progress, impact and future plans.
