Job summary

AMSi seeks qualified teachers to deliver engaging lessons, assess student progress, and guide learners toward academic growth in a Dubai-based setting. You will collaborate with parents and staff, contribute to curriculum development, and promote student wellbeing while maintaining a positive classroom environment.

The role requires a solid teaching qualification in addition to a BS/BA in the subject area and adherence to UAE teaching standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts in the subject area
• A recognized teaching qualification (e.g. B.Ed, Masters in Education, Teaching Diploma or equivalent) from a recognized and accredited institution

Responsibilities

• Teach allocated classes along with related planning
• Assess, monitor, record and report on student work
• Provide advice and guidance to students on education-related issues
• Promote and safeguard student wellbeing and safety
• Collaborate with parents and other staff for students' best interests
• Engage in continuing professional development

• Minimum BS BA in the subject plusA recognized teaching qualification e g B Ed Masters of Education Teaching Professional Certificate Diploma in Teaching or Education or pedagogy from a recognized and accredited institutionMeeting the TELS UAE teacher certification requirements and obtaining the Competent Teacher Status CTS within a year of joining or shorter if specified by the related authority
