Job summary

A leading financial institution in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced manager to oversee branch operations. You will work closely with the Regional Head to implement sales strategies and ensure compliance across branches. The ideal candidate will have 10 years of banking experience, with at least 5 years in managerial roles, and hold a Bachelor's degree. This is a full-time position with no remote work options available.

Job description

Responsibilities:

  1. Work closely with the Regional Head to implement distribution/network strategy and sales & services strategy. Agree on overall budget and KPI targets, as well as targets per customer segment for the area/cluster, with the Regional Head. Delegate budget and targets to Branch/Cluster Managers and ensure delivery of these targets by managing and monitoring the sales & service teams' performance.
  2. Implement departmental policies, systems, and procedures to ensure compliance with procedural and legislative requirements, delivering standardized, quality, cost-effective services with high customer satisfaction across all branches in the area.
  3. Explore and gather necessary details to create new business opportunities within the area in coordination with other Business Lines. Also, gather information to open, relocate, or remove branches or ATMs/CDMs, providing business justification.
  4. Represent the bank in the local community within the assigned area.
  5. Handle customer complaints in coordination with the Head of Customer Experience.
  6. Define goals and KPIs for each team member and ensure effective implementation of the performance management process.
  7. Develop talent within the team by providing guidance and coaching, with a clear focus on Emiratisation.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in any discipline with experience in the branch network.

Additional Information:

10 years of relevant banking sector experience, with at least 5 years in similar managerial roles within the branch network.
