The Project

Mace is providing project management services on a large mixed‑use regeneration development in Abu Dhabi. The site will have commercial workplaces and retail units along with a public realm.

Develops delegated architectural design elements to the concept stage, ensuring compliance with business, legal, and project requirements. Builds technical capability, broadens understanding of design and construction processes, and gains exposure to related disciplines. Actively engages in the graduate development programme and supports project needs, including security clearances where required.

You’ll Be Responsible For
  • Conducting inspections of architectural works to ensure compliance with approved shop drawings, specifications, and standards.
  • Verifying materials against approved material inspection requests (MIRs).
  • Processing non‑conformance reports (NCRs) and site observation reports (SORs).
  • Managing snagging and de‑snagging activities to ensure project quality standards.
  • Updating knowledge of UAE building codes, architectural guidelines, and authority requirements (ADM, DMT, Estidama, etc.).
  • Ensuring proper coordination of architectural works with structural and MEP disciplines during execution.
  • Understanding of Abu Dhabi authority prerequisites and approval processes for architectural works.
  • Identifying and reporting deviations from approved drawings and specifications.
  • Managing inspection schedules and maintaining accurate QA/QC documentation.
You’ll Need To Have
  • Diploma or degree in architecture or architectural engineering.
  • Relevant UAE experience with PMC or supervision consultancy.
  • Strong mixed‑use development background with an understanding of D&B and FIDIC Yellow Book.
  • Proficient in MS Office and QA/QC tools; Arabic is an advantage.
