Our client, one of the leading interior design and build companies in Dubai, specializing in workspace concepts are looking to hire an Architect (Office Fit-Outs).

Specializing in commercial/Office fit-outs, you will be responsible for leading the design process from conceptualization to execution. You will collaborate closely with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to develop creative and functional interior spaces that meet their requirements and exceed expectations.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Lead the design development process, including conceptualization, space planning, material selection, and detailing for commercial interior fit-out projects.
• Manage and mentor a team of designers, guiding them through all stages of the design process.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and project goals, and translate them into innovative design concepts.
• Work closely with engineers, and contractors to ensure seamless coordination and execution of design intent.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress, resolve design issues, and ensure compliance with design specifications and standards.
• Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies to continuously improve design processes and deliver cutting-edge solutions.
• Prepare and present design proposals, presentations, and drawings to clients and stakeholders.
• Oversee the preparation of detailed drawings, specifications, and documentation for construction.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in commercial interior design, with a focus on fit-outs in the UAE market.
• Proficiency in design software such as CadeMate/AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Canva, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and standards in the UAE.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Previous experience managing and mentoring a team of designers is preferred
