Job summary

WSP in the Middle East is seeking a talented Emirati Architect to join our Architecture team. You will contribute to the design and delivery of sustainable, high-profile projects across sectors, working within a collaborative multidisciplinary environment.

You will support concept development, design coordination, technical documentation, and project delivery while aligning with global design standards and client expectations. Fluency in English is essential; Arabic is a plus.

Qualifications

• UAE National with valid Family Book.
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience within an architectural or design consultancy environment.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating creative design thinking and technical capability.
• Proficiency in essential design tools such as Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino, Lumion, Enscape, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Support concept development, schematic, and detailed architectural designs for diverse project types.
• Produce drawings, BIM models, visualizations, and presentations using industry-standard software.
• Collaborate with structural, MEP, sustainability, and other engineering teams for integrated design outcomes.
• Prepare design reports, technical specifications, and documentation for each project stage.
• Conduct site visits, inspections, surveys, and compliance checks.
• Support senior architects and project managers to deliver project packages on time and to quality standards.
• Participate in internal design reviews, stakeholder meetings, and coordination workshops.
• Research materials, technologies, building codes, and design trends to support innovation.

As an Architect at WSP, you will support concept development, design coordination, technical documentation, and project delivery, while contributing creative solutions that align with our global design standards and client expectations.

• Strong portfolio demonstrating creative design thinking and technical capability.
• Proficiency in essential design tools such as:

Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino, Lumion, Enscape, or equivalent

• Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) preferred.
• Strong understanding of design principles, building systems, and construction processes.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English; Arabic is an advantage but not required.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong timemanagement skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and project delivery frameworks in the Middle East is beneficial.
