Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Abu Dhabi seeks an on-site supervisor for architectural and interior design works, overseeing contractor performance and coordinating with other disciplines. You will inspect works, review submittals, prepare reports, and ensure quality and constructability on site.

Key duties include daily inspections, documenting non-conformances, developing coordination plans, and building strong client relationships while supporting the project team throughout construction.

Qualifications

• Degree in Architecture.
• Experience supervising architectural/interior design on-site.
• Ability to interpret project specifications.
• Desirable Middle East experience.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the site supervision of Contractor's'architectural and interior design works.
• Review and commenting on submittals, forwarding submittals to the concerned designer for response, obtaining samples and quotations when required, preparing reports and recommendations and coordination of all architectural / ID works with other disciplines.
• Reviewing and authorising inspector's daily reports, preparing portion of weekly report and input to monthly report of the section of the project.
• Review comments on Material submittals concerning constructability as support to the AOR and witness field tests.
• Review As-built drawings.
• Report Quality Non-Conformances and assist in closing out of the same.
• Report safety violations to HSE Manager during inspections on site.
• Work with project site team.
• Coordinate and manage the technical input of other disciplines during construction stage.
• Ensure the satisfactory management and control of inward and outward documentation.
• Be able to develop and build client relationships.
• Supervise the work of other team members.

Your role

Technical Competencies

• Degree in Architecture.
• AutoCAD competent and able to work on their own initiative with minimum supervision, within a multi-disciplinary team.
• Experience in a variety of buildings and sectors such as multi residential, leisure, hotels, retail, offices, mixed-use developments.
• Able to interpret project specifications client requirements and constructability requirements.
• Able to prepare project specific quality plans and record and implement essential coordination issues in accordance with Atkins quality procedures
• Desirable Middle East experience.
