Job summary

Client of Skills Hub Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced architect to lead the architectural design of villa and home-development projects in Abu Dhabi, from concept through construction and handover. You will ensure designs meet client requirements, approved drawings, UAE regulations, authority requirements, quality standards, and project timelines.

Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is required; a Home Country License and 3–5 years UAE residential experience are mandatory for this

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or equivalent required.
• Home country license mandatory.
• Minimum 3–5 years UAE experience in residential, villa, or home-development projects.
• Strong knowledge of UAE building regulations and authority approval procedures.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
• Knowledge of architectural detailing and construction materials.
• Strong coordination and communication skills.
• Valid UAE Driving License.

Responsibilities

• Develop architectural concepts.
• Produce schematic designs.
• Create detailed designs and construction drawings.
• Prepare architectural layouts, elevations, sections, details and schedules.
• Coordinate architectural designs with Civil, Structural, Electrical, MEP and other consultants.
• Review drawings and identify design conflicts before construction.
• Prepare drawings and documents for submission to relevant authorities.
• Coordinate with Municipality, ADM, DM Trakhees or other applicable authorities.
• Attend authority meetings and address technical comments.
• Conduct regular site visits to ensure construction follows approved designs.
• Review contractor shop drawings and material submissions.
• Coordinate design revisions with clients and consultants.
• Prepare as-built drawings and documentation for project handover.
• Monitor design-related issues and provide practical site solutions.
• Maintain proper architectural documentation and revision control.
