A leading company in industrial services is looking for an ARC Welder to perform welding operations using Arc techniques. The ideal candidate should have 2-4 years of experience in welding with a strong understanding of safety and quality standards. Responsibilities include performing welding tasks, reading blueprints, and ensuring the quality of welds. This role requires proficiency in welding techniques and the ability to work independently as well as in teams. Competitive salary of approximately ₹44,000 per month offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–4 years of proven experience as an ARC Welder.
• Certification in welding (SMAW / MMAW) is advantageous.
• Ability to read fabrication drawings and welding symbols.
• Good understanding of welding quality standards and inspection procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform Arc welding operations as per project specifications.
• Read and interpret welding blueprints and fabrication drawings.
• Prepare welding materials by cleaning and aligning components.
• Weld, repair, and fabricate structural steel, pipes, and metal parts using welding equipment and tools.
• Conduct visual inspection of weld joints to ensure compliance with quality and dimensional standards.
• Ensure correct electrode selection, current settings, and welding parameters for assigned tasks.
• Perform grinding, chipping, and finishing of welds to meet required standards.
• Maintain welding tools, equipment, and workstations in proper condition.
• Follow safety protocols including usage of PPE and adherence to workplace safety rules.
• Coordinate with fabricators, supervisors, and engineers for timely completion of assigned tasks.
