International Schools Partnership Limited (ISP) is seeking an Arabic Teacher for Smart Vision School in Dubai. The role focuses on delivering high-quality Arabic lessons aligned with UAE MoE curriculum, fostering language proficiency and inclusive learning in a diverse cohort.

The successful candidate will ensure safeguarding, assessment, and reporting in line with KHDA standards, supporting students’ linguistic, social, and emotional development while engaging with parents and the school

Qualifications

  • Minimum of two years’ teaching experience in a school setting.
  • Excellent command of Arabic and English (spoken and written).
  • Knowledge of safeguarding, child protection, and wellbeing requirements.
  • Experience aligning lessons with MoE and KHDA standards.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver Arabic language lessons aligned with UAE MoE curriculum.

Job Description
Purpose of the Role

The Arabic Teacher at Smart Vision School is responsible for delivering high-quality, engaging, and inclusive Arabic lessons that foster academic, linguistic, social, and emotional development. The teacher will create a positive and nurturing classroom environment, adapt teaching approaches to meet the diverse needs of learners, and encourage curiosity, confidence, and a love of the Arabic language.

This role aligns with UK Teachers’ Standards, the KHDA Education Inspection Framework, and the UAE Ministry of Education (MoE) Arabic curriculum, ensuring excellence in teaching, safeguarding, wellbeing, inclusion, and student achievement. The teacher will maintain effective communication with parents and colleagues and contribute to the wider SVS community.

Key Responsibilities
Teaching and Learning
  • Plan and deliver Arabic language lessons aligned with the UAE MoE curriculum and school schemes of work.
  • Use strong subject knowledge, pedagogy, and interpersonal skills to inspire and motivate students.
  • Adapt lessons to support Students of Determination, ELL learners, and students with diverse abilities.
  • Use a variety of teaching strategies, including ICT and creative approaches, to enhance engagement.
  • Encourage students to become independent, confident, and lifelong learners.
  • Model best practice in language acquisition, academic integrity, and critical thinking.
Assessment, Recording, and Reporting
  • Assess and record student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback.
  • Help students set and monitor personal language-learning targets.
  • Produce clear, professional reports and maintain accurate records of academic, social, and linguistic development.
Pastoral and Behaviour Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain consistent expectations for behaviour aligned with school policies and Islamic/Arabic values.
  • Promote respect, empathy, and inclusion within the classroom and wider school community.
  • Take proactive measures to safeguard students from abuse, bullying, or discrimination.
  • Support students’ personal and emotional wellbeing through guidance and mentoring.
Curriculum Development
  • Prepare schemes of work and lesson plans aligned with the UAE MoE Arabic curriculum and school standards.
  • Contribute to teaching materials, assessment methods, and enrichment activities.
  • Embed UAE heritage, culture, and values across the Arabic curriculum.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain high-quality provision and ensure cohesive learning experiences.
Professional Development and Contribution
  • Engage in continuous professional development, reflecting on teaching practice.
  • Actively participate in departmental and whole-school meetings.
  • Support school events, after-school activities, and community engagement.
  • Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and integrity at all times.
Essential
  • Relevant qualification in Arabic language or education
