Job summary

Zohorecruit is seeking an Arabic-speaking Speech & Language Therapist for a school program in the UAE. The role focuses on preventing, identifying, and treating speech, language, and communication challenges to support learning and classroom participation.

You will deliver Arabic-focused therapy, collaborate with teachers and parents, and adapt push-in, pull-out, and co-teaching approaches while maintaining thorough documentation and progress reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
• 3+ years pediatric / school-based SLP experience.
• DHA/DOH/MOHAP license or eligibility preferred.
• Experience with autism spectrum, developmental language disorders, stuttering and learning difficulties is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Screen students and conduct comprehensive assessments for speech sound production, language, fluency, voice and social communication.
• Design and deliver individualized and group therapy programs linked to classroom and IEP goals.
• Provide therapy in push-in, pull-out and co-teaching models with class teachers.
• Coach teachers and LSAs on strategies to support language and communication in the classroom.
• Counsel and train parents on home practice and generalization.
• Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and reports for school and (where relevant) insurance.
