Job summary

Dawrati, a Dubai-based company, seeks a creative videographer and editor with an Arabic-speaking background and a strong visual eye. You will own the process from concept to final cut, shaping lighting, framing, pacing, and storytelling across YouTube, social, podcasts, and coaching content.

This role requires hands-on shooting, lighting setup, color grading, audio basics, and collaboration with the marketing team to turn ideas into engaging visuals.

Qualifications

• Arabic speaking is required.
• Proven professional experience in both videography and video editing.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating your actual shooting and editing work.
• Strong knowledge of lighting: exposure, modifiers, color temperature.
• Understanding of cameras, lenses, composition, framing, and movement.
• Advanced proficiency in Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar.
• Strong color correction and color grading skills.
• Experience with professional audio recording and podcast production.
• Strong storytelling instincts and audience retention understanding.
• Ability to shoot controlled studio content and dynamic on-the-move content.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Comfortable using Google Drive, Dropbox, and AI-powered tools.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a creative team.

Responsibilities

• Plan, shoot, and edit high-quality video content for YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, podcasts, coaching programs, and campaigns.
• Create professional lighting setups for studio, podcast, talking-head, and creative shoots.
• Make creative decisions on camera angles, framing, movement, lighting, and visual direction.
• Collaborate with content/marketing to turn ideas and scripts into visuals.
• Shoot dynamic handheld and moving content with sharp image quality.
• Operate cameras, lenses, lighting, mics, and production gear confidently.
• Manage podcast shoots and maintain audio/video quality.
• Edit short-form and long-form content with strong pacing and storytelling.
• Perform color correction and color grading to ensure polished visuals.
• Use sound design, B-roll, graphics, transitions, and VFX purposefully.
• Create long-form YouTube videos to maintain attention and drive leads.
• Adapt edits for different platforms rather than just resizing.
• Organize footage, project files, and archives efficiently.
• Maintain production equipment and keep the studio ready.
• Continuously experiment with new shooting styles and AI tools.
