Job summary

Allocation Assist Middle East is recruiting a Consultant Psychiatrist to join a leading healthcare organization in Qatar. The role requires Arabic/English fluency and a strong background in adult psychiatry, assessment, and patient-centered care.

The psychiatrist will work across inpatient and outpatient settings, collaborating with psychologists, nurses, and other specialists to deliver evidence-based treatment and education to patients and families.

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent recognised by Qatar healthcare authorities.
• Board Certification / Fellowship in Psychiatry.
• Fluency in Arabic and English is mandatory.
• Minimum 5–7 years of post-board consultant experience in Psychiatry.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and manage psychiatric disorders across inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Provide psychiatric evaluations, treatment planning, and medication management.
• Conduct psychotherapy, counseling, and behavioural interventions where appropriate.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and support services.
