Job summary

Mercor, a platform connecting elite creative and technical talent with AI research labs, seeks a Music & Lyrics Expert - Arabic for a remote contract role. You will evaluate AI-generated music and lyrics in Arabic and English, rate quality and originality, and ensure alignment with prompts. Up to 6 months, 20+ hours/week. Must be native/near-native in Arabic and familiar with the Arabic music scene. Headphones or studio monitors required.

Qualifications

• Must have native or near-native proficiency in Arabic and ability to follow instructions in English.
• Experience as a songwriter, lyricist, performer, composer, or music journalist with knowledge of the Arabic music scene.
• Headphones or studio monitors suitable for critical listening.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-generated music across genres and assess quality in Arabic and English.
• Compare AI-generated lyrics with published songs to identify similarities.
• Rate lyrics based on quality, creativity, prompt adherence, and originality.
• Evaluate naturalness of lyrics including word choice, slang, and regional expressions.
• Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines and improve AI model performance.
