Reporting to: Associate Programme Leader and Dean of the College, and working with them as part of the College of Music team

Works Closely with: All members of the faculty and Students

Weekly teaching:3 hours of small group tuition and 2 hours of preparation and administration

Start Date: 5 January 2026

Sharjah Performing Arts Academy (SPAA) is looking for a part time Arabic Music History Tutor. The role involves providing group tuition in Arabic Music History, including lectures, group discussions, and practical demonstrations, and developing study, practice, and exam materials as needed.

Reporting to the Associate Programme Leader and Dean of the College, the Arabic Musicianship Tutor shall execute the following tasks and responsibilities:

  • Providing group tuition in Arabic Music History, including lectures, group discussions, and practical demonstrations.
  • Developing study, practice, and exam materials as needed.
  • Liaising with students, Programe Leaders, and other members of faculty and staff, to organise student exams.
  • Working with the Associate Programme Leader to ensure all programme documents are complete and satisfactory.
