Job summary

A healthcare provider in Dubai is seeking an experienced professional to manage insurance preapproval requests, train new staff, and handle insurance queries. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in a related field and at least three years of experience in the healthcare or insurance industry. Fluency in English is essential, and spoken Arabic is advantageous. This full-time role offers a chance to improve business relations and support overall development within the unit.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Reviews, sends and follows-up on preapproval requests from various departments.
  • Assists in training newly inducted staff on insurance protocols.
  • Monitors approvals and follows up on pending/rejected cases.

Skills

Basic Knowledge in Computer and Microsoft application
Ability to handle insurance queries

Job description

Under the supervision of the Audit Team leader; reviews, sends and follows-up preapproval requests received from various departments in the facility. Coordinates with the Billing Team and other teams of RCM Department in regards to any concerns relating to pre approvals. Responds to quires related to insurance coverage/Approvals of patients and assists in the same regard.

Responsibilities

Assists in training newly inducted staff about various insurance protocols.

Monitors, dispatches approvals and does follow up of pending / rejected cases.

Coordinates with the doctors of NMC Hospital DIP & Insurance Companies in regards to justification of rejected approvals.

Coordinates with PRO, Billing and Front office teams for updation of approval status.

Handles all insurance related queries of staff and patients.

Prepares reports of daily productivity as requested by management and assists management in month end reporting as requested.

Improves Business relations through uniform, equitable and transparent application of the policies of NMC Hospital DIP

Assists in the overall development of unit Policy and Procedure which involves the RCM Department.

General administration of the office in the absence of Team Leader.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree (Preferred Nursing, Coding or paramedical degree) with experience Insurance or healthcare industry.

Job Experience Required: At least three years in a health insurance, healthcare industry

Basic Knowledge in Computer and Microsoft application.

Fluent in spoken and written English. Spoken Arabic is advantageous but not essential.
