Job summary

Cerebras Systems, Inc. is looking for an Applied AI Scientist to join the FieldML team. This role involves developing and customizing large language models to address specific customer challenges, and working directly with innovative AI initiatives using the Cerebras Wafer-Scale Engine.

The candidate should have a Master’s or PhD in relevant fields, expertise in deep learning, and hands-on experience with model training and implementation. Enjoy the opportunity to influence AI technologies significantly and contribute to pioneering projects.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of training and/or fine-tuning large models with 1B+ parameters.
• Experience with modern model architectures including dense transformers and MoEs.
• Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication in collaborative settings.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to identify AI solutions for their business problems.
• Architect and execute training recipes for bespoke models.
• Build strong relationships with customers to become their AI expert.
