Overview

Applications Specialist-SharePoint at UAE

Responsibilities
  • Provide applications support of the Company SharePoint Platform and Applications including: Document Management System, Electronic Forms, Correspondence Management System, Intranet, and related components.
  • Develop and support new SharePoint applications based on business needs.
  • Install, configure, administer and support Microsoft SharePoint up to and including version 2016.
  • Integrate enterprise content with SharePoint (document management, content indexing, search scopes, workflow, personalization, access restriction).
  • Setup and administration including application server (IIS), content management tools, SharePoint, and workflow management (e.g., Nintex).
  • Website development/programming experience (.NET preferred) and Windows scripting experience (.vbs).
  • Installation, upgrade and administration of Microsoft SQL Server; experience with SharePoint Server-Side and Client-Side Object Model.
  • Experience with SharePoint Designer Workflows.
  • Experience in ASP.NET / MVC / .NET / HTML / CSS / JavaScript / jQuery / REST / OData / MVC / CDN.
  • Experience using Visual Studio and Microsoft Team Foundation Services.
  • Experience with Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Microsoft Power BI, QlikView).
  • Experience with Content Management systems (WordPress, DotNetNuke, etc.).
  • Experience with Database management systems (e.g., Apache Hadoop, MySQL, MS SQL Server Reporting Services, Crystal Reports).
  • Experience in business and technical requirements gathering.
  • Provide user trainings and develop training materials including demos and user manuals.
Qualifications
  • BS in Computer Science, MIS or related degree.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ demonstrated experience installing, configuring, administering and supporting Microsoft SharePoint up to version 2016.
  • Strong experience in delivering SharePoint-related solutions and supporting enterprise content management.
