Job summary

GS1 UAE is seeking an Angular Frontend Developer to build responsive web applications, create reusable components, and integrate APIs. You will translate UI/UX designs into functional interfaces and ensure accessibility and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3–6 years of professional frontend development experience with strong Angular experience.
• Proficiency in Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3; RESTful APIs experience.
• Experience with Jasmine, Karma, Jest, Cypress, or similar testing frameworks is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable and responsive web applications using Angular and TypeScript.
• Build reusable components, modules, services, and frontend libraries.

• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and accessibility.
• Identify and resolve frontend performance bottlenecks.
• Develop and maintain unit and integration tests for Angular applications.
• Perform functional, regression, and cross-browser testing.
• Work closely with QA teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve defects.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain high standards of code quality.
• Support continuous improvement of development and testing processes.
• Manage source code using Git, GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, product teams, and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Frontend Development

• Develop scalable and responsive web applications using Angular and TypeScript.
