Client of First Medical Center is seeking a qualified anaesthesiologist to conduct pre-operative assessments and develop anaesthetic plans. The role involves delivering general and other anaesthetic techniques, monitoring patients, and providing post-operative care within a multidisciplinary surgical environment.

The position requires strong clinical and perioperative skills, eligibility for UAE licensing, and active participation in emergency on-call services.

Qualifications

• Recognized medical degree.
• Recognized specialist qualification in Anaesthesiology.
• Eligibility for UAE/Abu Dhabi medical licensing.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary surgical environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-operative anaesthesia assessments.
• Develop appropriate anaesthetic management plans.
• Provide general anaesthesia and other appropriate anaesthetic techniques.
• Monitor patients throughout operative and procedural care.
• Provide post-operative anaesthetic assessment and management.
• Manage airway and perioperative emergencies.
• Support pain-management requirements within scope.
• Participate in multidisciplinary perioperative planning.
• Maintain accurate anaesthesia records.
• Follow patient-safety infection-control and clinical governance standards.
• Participate in emergency and on‑call services as required.
• Contribute to quality-improvement and professional development activities.
