Job summary

Workato is seeking an experienced Anesthesiologist to join our team in Abu-Dhabi. The ideal candidate will provide anesthesia care during surgical procedures, assess patients pre- and post-operatively, and monitor vital signs throughout treatment.

The role requires board certification and a medical degree in Anesthesiology, with at least five years of high-volume practice. You will collaborate with the surgical and clinical teams to ensure patient safety and optimal recovery.

Qualifications

• Doctoral Degree in Medicine with specialization in Anesthesiology from an accredited university.
• Board Certification in Anesthesiology (or equivalent).
• At least 5 years of experience working as a practicing Anesthesiologist in a high-volume setting.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients prior to surgery or treatment to determine risk factors and anesthetic requirements.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs during surgery or treatment.
• Administer anesthetics using appropriate techniques, as indicated by the patient’s condition and the type of procedure.
• Administer pain relief medications or sedatives as needed.
• Provide consultation services regarding anesthesia management to other members of the healthcare team.
• Develop plans for the management of anesthesia care throughout all stages of the procedure or treatment.
• Provide postoperative care to ensure optimal recovery following a procedure or treatment.
