Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physician Assistant from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 3 years experience working as a Physician Assistant in outpatient settings.
• NCCPA certification is required and knowledge of medical terminology, diagnostic tests, medications, anatomy and physiology.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under supervision, including histories, exams, ordering tests and treatments.
• Document medical information accurately into patient records and coordinate with healthcare staff.
• Educate patients and families on health promotion and disease prevention; participate in meetings and care planning.
