Job summary

SEHA (Abu Dhabi Health Services) Careers is seeking dedicated Ambulance Drivers to operate medical rescue vehicles across Abu Dhabi. You will drive high-speed emergency vans to reach patients quickly, assist paramedics with heavy equipment, and ensure the vehicle remains clean and ready for the next call.

You must have a flawless driving record, stay composed under pressure, and be physically capable of handling heavy loads. Night shifts include additional pay and government-backed job security.

Qualifications

• Must have a clean driving record due to high-speed emergency driving during life-or-death situations.
• Must remain calm and composed when confronted with accidents and distressed families.
• Physically capable of loading and unloading a rolling bed with a patient and heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

• Drive the emergency medical van safely to reach sick patients before their condition worsens.
• Assist the paramedic team by carrying oxygen tanks and medical bags up stairs as needed.
• Clean the van interior after patient handoffs to maintain sanitation and infection control.
• Check engine oil, tire pressure, and roof siren lights every morning before the shift.

SEHA is looking for highly focused Ambulance Drivers to operate medical rescue vehicles and help save lives across the Abu Dhabi emirate.

Daily Driving Tasks:

• Drive the emergency medical van safely at high speeds to reach sick patients before their condition gets worse.
• Help the paramedic team carry heavy oxygen tanks and medical bags up the stairs of tall apartment buildings.
• Clean the inside of the van with strong chemicals and water after dropping off bleeding patients to keep it perfectly sanitized.
• Check the van engine oil, tire air pressure, and roof siren lights every morning before starting the shift.

Rules for Selection:

• Driving Skills: You need a highly perfect driving record because you will be moving through red lights during life-or-death emergencies.
• Emotional Control: You must not panic or get scared when seeing serious road accidents or hearing crying families.
• Physical Strength: Loading a rolling bed with a heavy adult on it requires a lot of arm and back strength.
