Job summary

Aldar Academies in Abu Dhabi invites applications for a full-time on-site English Teacher to start January 2027. Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver lessons aligned with the school's Teaching and Learning Policy.
• Identify SEN/EAL/G&T needs and differentiate accordingly.
• Assess student progress using performance data and provide feedback.
• Maintain discipline and promote positive behaviour in class.
• Support school-wide CPD and professional development initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications: A Bachelor degree in Education or Bachelor Degree in a related subject with PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification

• Undertake assessment of students as requested by examination bodies, department and school procedures
• Prepare and present informative reports to parents Attend and support parent/student events.

Take part in subject development by producing, reviewing and updating curriculum plans and schemes of work Meeting with other professionals such as speech and language therapists, occupational therapists and educational psychologists, if required.

Any other duties as assigned by the SLT.
