Job summary

Dubai Air Navigation Services, based in Dubai, seeks a skilled Air Traffic Controller to provide continuous operational control across Aerodrome, Approach, and Flight Information Services. You will ensure safe, orderly, and expeditious traffic flow in a high-density environment.

The role requires ICAO courses completion, ICAO English Level 4, a valid ATC license and medical certificate, plus strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Qualifications

• Successful ICAO courses completed.
• ICAO English Level 4 proficiency.
• Valid ATC license.
• Valid medical certificate.
• Experience in a complex, high-density environment with innovative procedures (RECAT, RRSM, APO, A-SMGCS).
• Understanding of aircraft performance related to coms, nav and surveillance.
• Proficient with general PC software and smart applications.
• For external recruitment, minimum 3 years continuous operational duties at a major international unit with APC.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24/7 ATC service (Aerodrome, Approach, Flight Information, and Alerting) to ensure safe, orderly flow of traffic.
• Operate within dans' assigned areas of responsibility and apply procedures to manage high-density traffic.

Job Description

• To provide 24/7 (shift pattern) operational Provision Aerodrome Control Service, Approach Control Service, Flight Information Service and Alerting Service as appropriate, ensuring a safe, orderly, and expeditious flow of traffic for all aircraft operating within dans' assigned areas of responsibility.

Note: you will be required to attach the following:

• ATC License copy (Including current ratings)
• Ratings copy
• ATCO Medical copy
• ICAO & ELP
• LVL - License verification letter

Qualifications

• Successful completion of relevant ICAO courses
• ICAO English Level 4 language proficiency
• Valid ATC license
• Valid relevant medical certificate
• Proven ability to work in a complex, high density environment, unique to dans with respect to innovative procedures, e.g., RECAT, RRSM, APO, A-SMGCS, etc.
• All aspects of aircraft performance relevant to communication, navigation, and surveillance
• General computer literacy (commercial PC software packages and smart applications)
• For external recruitment, a minimum of three (3) years continuous operational duties at a major international unit, having successfully passed an APC
