Job summary

Serco is seeking an Air Traffic Control Assistant (ATCA) in the United Arab Emirates. The role supports 24-hour operations, assists the Duty ATCO, and ensures accurate AIS and flight planning data in compliance with international standards.

The ATCA will handle NOTAMs, flight progress assets, and communications, while maintaining logs and contributing to safe, efficient air traffic services.

Qualifications

• High school level education; customer service aptitude.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to interpret and analyze data/information.

Responsibilities

• Carry out procedures in briefing room and AIS procedures, disseminate flight-related messages.
• Assist Duty ATCO, especially during emergencies and low visibility operations.
• Prepare flight progress strips and update flight plans.
• Liaise with Airport Operations and other units for parking and start-up clearances.
• Record movement data and maintain logs and reports.
• Coordinate with Briefing Room and update aeronautical publications.
• Answer phones, process essential information promptly and accurately.
