AI/ML Engineer - End-to-End Models & MLOps

Job summary

FashionUnited seeks a skilled ML Engineer to translate business challenges into robust ML solutions. You will design end-to-end pipelines, from feature extraction to model packaging, while optimizing inference latency on CPU/GPU and ensuring reproducibility.

You will implement MLOps, deployment, and observability, build real-time and batch services, and ensure data quality, governance, and privacy practices across data contracts and ETL/ELT pipelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML, or a related field.
• Proven experience designing, training, and deploying ML models and AI solutions.
• Strong programming skills in Python and familiarity with ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).
• Hands-on experience with MLOps tools and practices (Docker, Kubernetes, MLflow, CI/CD pipelines).
• Proficiency in data processing and ETL tools (Spark, Databricks) and working with large datasets.
• Knowledge of model optimization techniques (quantization, distillation) and production performance tuning.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and scalable architecture design.
• Understanding of data governance, privacy standards, and compliance requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present technical concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

• Translate business problems into ML formulations and select architectures with clear success metrics.
• Build end-to-end ML pipelines: feature extraction, training, tuning, packaging models for reproducible artifacts.
• Optimize inference for latency and throughput on CPU/GPU.
• Implement MLOps, deployment, observability, and real-time/batch inference services.
• Design data contracts, ETL/ELT pipelines, and enforce data quality with privacy-by-design practices.
• Document model decisions and present trade-offs to stakeholders.
