Job summary

Zayed University invites applications from qualified candidates to teach AI, ML/DL, DS, and related CS courses within the Computational Systems department on its Abu Dhabi and Dubai campuses starting January 2027.

The successful candidate will have a proven record of excellence in undergraduate teaching, engage students through active learning, mentor student projects, and contribute to scholarly activities while delivering both online and on-campus instruction across sections.

Qualifications

• PhD in AI, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computational Mathematics, or a related field recognized by UAE MOE.
• At least 3 years of undergraduate or graduate teaching experience focusing on AI, ML/DL, or DS.
• Proficiency in Python, R, MATLAB and frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Demonstrated active learning experience in higher-education teaching.
• Experience in leading capstone projects or industry partnerships and supervising students.
• Must hold a valid UAE residency visa.

Responsibilities

• Teach AI, ML/DL, DS, Applied Math and Computational Mathematics courses.
• Engage in scholarly activities and mentor students.
• Deliver online and on-campus instruction across Abu Dhabi and Dubai campuses and coordinate with course coordinators.
