Job summary

Alpheya, a UAE-based B2B WealthTech startup backed by major investors, invites motivated software engineer interns (UAE nationals) to join our AI-driven team in Abu Dhabi. You will learn across our stack (Next frontend, Node/Go/Python backends, GraphQL/gRPC, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes) through mentored projects and code reviews, while contributing to testing, documentation, and agile ceremonies.

This 6–12 week program runs mid-September to December at ADGM, offering hands-on experience in fintech

Qualifications

• Pursuing a CS/SE degree or related technical field.
• Basic programming knowledge in any modern language.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Interest in software development best practices.
• Basic understanding of version control (Git).

Responsibilities

• Learn and contribute to software development across our technology stack through hands-on projects and mentored assignments.
• Collaborate with experienced engineers to understand best practices in software development.
• Write clean, documented code while receiving guidance from senior team members.
• Participate in code reviews to learn from feedback and understand quality standards.
• Assist in testing and debugging of applications.
• Document your work and contribute to technical documentation.
• Take part in team meetings and agile ceremonies to understand our development process.
