Job summary

A leading aviation maintenance provider is seeking an experienced 2nd Line Mechanic for the AH-64D / E Apache in Abu Dhabi. You will perform maintenance, inspections, and repairs, ensuring aircraft readiness and compliance with standards. The ideal candidate has at least 6 years of aviation maintenance experience and is able to mentor trainees. Competitive salary and a strong commitment to safety and excellence are offered.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 6 years aviation maintenance experience.
  • Minimum 3 years hands-on experience as a mechanic on the AH-64D / E aircraft.
  • Strong knowledge of common tools, special tools, test equipment, and ground support equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on the AH-64D / E aircraft.
  • Maintain aircraft, equipment, tools, and support resources.
  • Support and mentor customer trainees through on-the-job training.
  • Complete all required maintenance forms and documentation.
  • Participate in maintenance test flights and operational checks.
  • Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members.

Skills

Strong English reading, writing, and communication skills
Ability to train, guide, and support technical trainees
Solid program management awareness
Proficiency with computer-based applications and maintenance systems
Ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment

Education

Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate or equivalent
High School Diploma
Graduation from a military or commercial aircraft maintenance program
