Job summary

A leading aviation maintenance company in the UAE is seeking a Mechanic 2nd Line (AH-64D/E Apache) to join its maintenance team. The role involves performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on AH-64D/E aircraft, training customer trainees, and ensuring compliance with technical standards. Candidates should possess an Airframe & Powerplant Certificate, a minimum of 6 years of aviation maintenance experience, and strong communication skills. This position offers a chance to contribute significantly to mission support operations.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 6 years aviation maintenance experience required.
  • Minimum 3 years hands-on experience as a mechanic on AH-64D/E.
  • Strong knowledge of tools and equipment used in aviation maintenance.

Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance inspections and repairs on AH-64D/E.
  • Support and mentor customer trainees.
  • Complete maintenance documentation in compliance with policies.
  • Participate in maintenance test flights and operational checks.

Skills

Strong English reading, writing and communication skills
Ability to train, guide and support technical trainees
Proficiency with computer‑based applications and maintenance systems
Solid program management awareness
Ability to work effectively within a team‑oriented environment

Education

Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate or equivalent
High School Diploma
Graduation from military or commercial aircraft maintenance program
Corrosion prevention training
