Job summary

EDGE, a UAE-based advanced technology group, seeks a Programme Quality Engineer II (PQE II) for HALCON to plan, coordinate, and assure quality across the Programme lifecycle.

You will lead QA activities, develop QAP and QCPs, oversee audits, manage non-conformances, and drive CAPA and continuous improvement with cross-functional teams.

This role requires aerospace/defense domain experience, AS9100D knowledge, and strong quality governance to deliver conforming products on time.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8–10 years in quality assurance in aerospace/defence/high-precision manufacturing
• Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, AS9100D preferred
• Experience with testing tools, QA engineering, and first article inspection

Responsibilities

• Lead QA across the programme lifecycle to ensure compliance with requirements
• Develop and maintain QAP and QCPs with effective deployment of controls and inspections
• Provide independent quality oversight and governance across reviews and manage risk and CAPA
• Review and approve programme deliverables to ensure quality and contractual compliance
• Manage quality activities across design through production readiness and release
• Oversee testing and product release readiness including configuration control and traceability
• Lead non-conformance management, CAPA, risk assessment, and governance board closure
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, and suppliers to align on quality requirements
• Plan and monitor audits, configuration reviews and customer acceptance activities
• Drive continuous improvement and mentoring of junior quality engineers
