Job summary

SafeBox in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Aerospace Engineer with a strong design background to join our engineering team. You will contribute to shaping new aircraft and spacecraft components and collaborate with engineers to ensure robust, safe, and innovative designs.

Responsibilities include designing with CAD tools, analyzing performance, and guiding testing to meet regulatory and safety standards, while working closely with multidisciplinary teams in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in aircraft or spacecraft design.
• Strong proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of aerodynamics, materials science, and structural analysis.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop new aircraft and spacecraft components using CAD software.
• Conduct research and analysis to improve existing designs for performance, safety and cost-effectiveness.
• Collaborate with other engineers, technicians and project managers to ensure designs meet project requirements.
• Develop testing procedures and oversee testing of prototypes to ensure functionality and safety.
• Stay updated on industry trends, advancements in technology and regulations related to aerospace engineering.
