Job summary

PixelWave Studios in Abu Dhabi is seeking a skilled Aerospace Engineer to join as a Design and Development Engineer. You will create, test, and evaluate new aircraft and spacecraft designs, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and utilize CAD/simulation tools to optimize concepts.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Aerospace Engineering with 3+ years in design and development, and strong knowledge of aerodynamics, thermodynamics, and propulsion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in aerospace engineering, specifically design & development.
• Proficient in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and simulation tools (ANSYS).
• Strong understanding of aerodynamics, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, structural mechanics, propulsion systems, etc.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail; able to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with industry safety standards and regulations; strong communication skills in English (Arabic a plus).

Responsibilities

• Conduct research and analysis to develop new designs for aircraft and spacecraft components.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine project specifications and requirements.
• Utilize CAD software to create detailed 2D and 3D models of design concepts.
• Perform simulations and tests to ensure designs meet performance standards.
• Identify and troubleshoot design issues or failures and implement solutions.
• Work with manufacturing teams to ensure smooth production of designed components.
• Stay updated with industry advancements and incorporate new technologies into designs.
• Document design processes including testing procedures and results.
