Allocation Assist Middle East seeks a Maternal‑Fetal Medicine specialist to lead high‑risk pregnancy care and collaborate with neonatology, genetics, radiology, and anesthesia teams in the UAE. The role focuses on advanced fetal imaging, prenatal diagnostics, and comprehensive patient‑centered care aligned with international standards.

You will supervise residents and fellows, participate in on‑call duties, and contribute to research, audits, and CPD to sustain best practices in MFM.

Qualifications

• MBBS/MD or equivalent.
• Board Certification in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
• Fetal Medicine fellowship from a recognized international institution.
• Minimum 3–5 years post‑fellowship experience in MFM.

Responsibilities

• Lead management of high‑risk pregnancies, including maternal medical complications, fetal anomalies, multiple gestations, and preterm birth risk.
• Perform advanced fetal imaging: anomaly scans, fetal echocardiography, Doppler studies, growth assessments.
• Conduct prenatal diagnostic procedures (amniocentesis, CVS, and fetal sampling when required).
• Provide expert counselling to families regarding fetal conditions and genetic risks.
• Collaborate with neonatology, genetics, radiology, anesthesia, and other specialties to optimize outcomes.
• Participate in fetal therapy planning and coordinate referrals for intrauterine interventions.
• Ensure accurate documentation, reporting, and follow‑up of all MFM cases.
• Contribute to quality improvement, clinical governance, and patient‑safety initiatives.
• Supervise and mentor residents, fellows, and sonographers in MFM.
• Participate in on‑call duties as per departmental requirements.
• Engage in research, audits, and CPD to maintain international standards.
