Higher Colleges of Technology invites applications for adjunct faculty to teach Applied Media at undergraduate level, covering capstone projects, work experiences, and senior courses, in a student-centered environment that respects culture.
Reporting to the Program Coordinator, adjuncts teach up to nine credits per semester, typically Monday to Friday 8:00 AM–8:00 PM, with schedule-driven hours and active participation in academic and community events.
To provide effective instruction in specific course(s) in the assigned Applied Media subjects and in at least two or more specific areas of the assigned program/discipline to second language learners within a student‑centric learning environment to foster respect for students, their culture, and their traditions.
To actively participate in academic and extra‑curricular events at the College and within the community.
Reporting to the Program Coordinator of a Division, Adjunct Faculty provide effective instruction in undergraduate courses in the respective discipline, covering regular program courses including capstone projects, work experience, and senior‑level specialized courses. Involvement in applied research and extra‑curricular events at the College and within the community and outreach activities are welcomed.
Adjunct Faculty teaching load are assigned on as per need basis and may not exceed Nine (9) credits per semester. Working days are normally Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Hours of work for academic employees are based on the teaching schedule.
