Job summary

Intesa Sanpaolo is seeking an experienced accounting operations professional in the UAE to ensure accurate financial records and compliant processing across AP/AR, reconciliations, and month-end activities.

You will support financial reporting and audits, contribute to regulatory submissions, and help maintain robust internal controls while partnering with a cross-functional team to drive efficiency and accuracy in daily processing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration is required.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and banking operations is expected.
• Experience with accounting software and MS Office Suite is essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of accurate financial records and local regulatory reports.
• Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
• Support the preparation of financial statements and regulatory reports.
• Ensure timely and error-free transaction processing comprises of remittances, loans, deposits, Trade Finance and Treasury Operations transactions.
• Assist in the implementation and monitoring of operational policies and procedures.
• Monitor and report on key operational metrics and performance indicators.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant banking regulations and internal policies.
• Assist in the identification, assessment, and mitigation of operational risks.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Meet the required quality standards for customer service (internal & external).
• Maintain organized and accurate records of all transactions and operations.

You will support the Accounting and Operations team, ensuring accurate financial record-keeping, efficient transaction processing, and compliance with regulatory requirements.You will manage accounts payable and receivable, perform reconciliations, assist with financial reporting and audits, and support month-end and year-end closing activities.
