Accountant – Dubai, UAE

We are looking for an Accountant to join our team in Dubai, UAE. We offer a competitive salary of 1600 per month and we are willing to consider applicants from abroad.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing payments, reconciling accounts, and filing documents in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. In this role you will be required to review and reconcile accounts, prepare bank reconciliations, calculate and post journal entries to the general ledger, prepare financial statements for review by management. Additionally you must have an understanding of all aspects of the accounting cycle including accounts payable/receivable and fixed asset maintenance.

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or a related field along with excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel). Prior experience is not required but would be advantageous. The successful candidate must be detail-oriented with excellent analytical skills as well as have strong interpersonal skills and be able to work well in a team environment.
